Terms and conditions

Bookings and payments are made in our online shop, whose terms apply at the time of purchase.

Terms of sale: general terms

Merchant: Sipoonjoki Smoke Sauna – Havuhattu Oy. Prices displayed in the online service include VAT. Products are sold to adult private individuals and business customers. Prices may change. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of their information and must review the currently valid terms before ordering.

Reservation terms

Terms apply to rental and bookable products and services (the "item"). A reservation becomes binding once the order/payment confirmation is sent to the customer's email. The merchant is not responsible for failed reservations; contact the merchant immediately. If the item is no longer available, the payment is refunded or an alternative is offered where possible.

Cancellations and changes

Private sessions, events and traditional sauna evenings: 14 days or more before – free cancellation and refund; less than 14 but at least 7 days – 50% charged or move to another date; less than 7 days – full price.

Public sessions: 48 hours or more before – free cancellation and refund or move to another date; less than 48 hours – full ticket price. A public session reservation can be transferred only once, at least 2 days before the original date; cancelling a transferred reservation is always charged in full.

Force majeure: the merchant may cancel and the customer receives a full refund; other costs are not compensated.

Payment terms

Reliable and secure payment intermediaries are used; bank or card details are never stored. Invoicing is available only to companies and organizations; late payments incur penalty fees. Orders with an incomplete payment transaction are not processed.

Terms for trainings and long-term courses

Registration is binding. Booking fee €200, paid at registration; refunded only with a medical certificate preventing participation, but transferable to a later equivalent course free of charge. Course fees are refunded minus a €60 administrative fee if cancelled at least 30 days before the start; within 30 days, refunds for remaining full sessions only with a medical certificate (minus €60), or transfer to a later course. VAT is added for companies. A replacement participant may be arranged. If Havuhattu Oy cancels, all fees are refunded in full.

Gift cards

The open gift card is valid for all services at Sipoonjoen Perinnesauna for 6 months from purchase. If you cannot use it in time, the validity can be extended free of charge on request – to the date you wish, or otherwise by 3 months. Own gift card: book directly in the booking system. At checkout, enter the 12-character code in the Gift card code field. The discount or annual card code field is separate. Elämyslahjat / Kiitoskauppa / Kokemuskauppa cards: check validity first; use the code in the middle of the card next to the expiry date (not the barcode code); choose a public session and enter the code; book any additional services with a separate order.

Extending a gift card

Sipoonjoen Perinnesauna's own gift cards are extended free of charge to the date the customer requests. If no date is requested, the validity is extended by 3 months from the day of the request. There is no fee and no conditions – you are warmly welcome to come and enjoy the sauna! Ask for an extension by email (savusauna@saunotus.fi) or phone (+358 10 299 2866).

Third-party gift cards (Elämyslahjat, Offerilla, Kokemuskauppa): extensions and expired cards are handled by each service's own customer service.
