The Sipoonjoki traditional sauna is a smoke sauna built underground, which leaves you feeling particularly cleansed and refreshed.

General shifts
Public sauna sessions are held on Saturdays and Sundays between 2:30 PM and 7 PM.
Men's sauna shift is on Mondays and women's shift is on Tuesdays from 16-19 pm. A quiet general shift open to everyone is on Wednesdays from 16-19 pm.
On Peat Thursday, you can experience the healing power of bog peat in a peat ceremony between 16 and 17 pm and then enjoy the warmth of a smoke sauna until 19 pm. You can only participate in the general session on Thursdays between 17 and 19 pm.
You can arrive by car or bike for weekday and weekend services . You can also take bus 841 from Itäkeskus to the Broböle stop, which is about a kilometer away.

After-baths and private tours
After all general shifts, after-work sessions are also available for your own group. You can conveniently book a spot for shifts or a private after-work session in our appointment booking system.
A private session is your chance to enjoy the steam baths and pools in the sauna area all evening.
We also offer various additional services, such as sauna treatments and ceremonies, guided nature walks and forest yoga. You can ask more about these by requesting a personalized quote from us using the form below.

Sauna treatments and events

Sauna treatments are offered at Love, a treatment sauna located in the sauna area , during all sauna shifts.
There are, for example, rejuvenating hay and peat treatments and a relaxing sauna massage.

A unique sauna experience in the middle of nature
Sipoonjoki's traditional sauna offers a unique experience in a country sauna, where bathing leaves you feeling especially cleansed and refreshed. You can take a dip in the fresh cold water pool from the sauna's medic baths, or enjoy the scenery of Sipoonjokilaakso in the warm pool. Our sauna attendants Laura, Joonas and Saara offer traditional saunas, summer and turf treatments, as well as herbal massages, as well as various baths and baths, when ordered separately.

Public sauna
The Sipoonjoki traditional sauna holds general sauna shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as general sauna shifts for men on Mondays and for women on Tuesdays.
On Wednesdays, the sauna has a quiet shift, during which the sauna itself is dedicated to silence and you can exchange messages in the sauna cabin. The quiet shift is a mixed shift, during which the use of a swimsuit is optional.

Weekend sauna shifts and the general shift on Thursday are mixed shifts, so you can come with your spouse or friends to enjoy the heat of the outdoor sauna. A swimsuit or towel is required for shifts.
During the men's and women's shift and during the quiet sauna shift, wearing a swimsuit is optional.
Participation in the sauna session is done by booking a place through our appointment booking system. You can reserve one or more places by selecting the number of people from the drop-down menu.

During the treatment, traditional sauna spells transport you to the realm of relaxation.
After the ceremony, you can enjoy the steam sauna and cold and lämminof water pools.

Cold and lämmin job
You can take a dip during your sauna vacation to the pool in front of the sauna. Both cold and lämminthe temperature of the water pool varies somewhat depending on the weather conditions.
The cold pool refreshes and makes you feel reborn after swimming. From the warm pool, you can admire the landscape of Sipoonjokilaakso and the old forest bordering the area.
Access to the cold and hot water pools is included in the admission ticket for both general sauna sessions and sauna sessions.

Our years of experience in various sauna events and saunas, combined with our knowledge of sauna tradition, enables you to have a unique experience at Sipoonjoki's traditional sauna.

Space to be and enjoy
The terrace path through the forest and the spacious patio in front of the ground sauna create a peaceful and pleasant setting for your sauna experience.
There is also a lean-to in the area, under whose shelter you can sit and have a fire or, for example, fry sausages during your shift.
The most convenient way to get there is by car or bike, but you can also take the bus (line 841 from Itäkeskus, Broböle stop) which is about a kilometer away. Hindsbyntie, where we are located, is a popular cycling route in the summer.
Staff always available
We will personally guide you through the sauna procedures. We are also available throughout the sauna experience and afterwards if you have any questions. You may even find us on the sauna benches with you!
If you need help moving around the sauna area, please let us know in advance by email. Please also note that there are some stairs in the sauna area, so the area is not barrier-free.
Nature experiences nearby
The traditional sauna in Sipoonjoki is a nature experience in itself, as it is located next to large forests. The Sipoonkorvi National Park is only a few kilometers away, so you can conveniently combine a visit to the national park with a sauna experience if you wish.
